Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
“At Sydney Secondary College Leichhardt Campus, we are committed to excellence for every student, in every classroom, every day.
We know that high expectations and genuine care go hand in hand. Our staff take the time to know each student as both a learner and an individual, building the relationships that make real growth possible. Through inclusive, responsive and challenging learning experiences, every student at Leichhardt is supported to discover their strengths, pursue their interests and reach their potential.
We are proud to offer pathways that stretch and inspire, including enrichment opportunities for students who are ready to be extended and challenged. Whether a student's strengths lie in academic achievement, the arts, sport or community contribution, Leichhardt is a place where ambition is nurtured and excellence is celebrated.
Our Years 7–10 campus is also the foundation for what comes next. Students who thrive here are well-prepared for the outstanding opportunities that await at Blackwattle Bay Campus for Years 11 and 12, one of NSW's most exciting senior school environments.
Respect, responsibility and a love of learning are at the heart of The Leichhardt Way. When you join our community, you become part of something worth being proud of.”
