School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Progress Interviews

Parent-teacher progress interviews in the school hall:

Year 7 - Tuesday 16 June 2026 3:15pm-7:15pm
Year 8 - Wednesday 24 June 2026 4pm-7pm
Years 9 and 10 - Wednesday 22 July 2026 3:30pm-7:30pm
Support students (all years) - Wednesday 24 June 2026 4pm-7pm

Parents and carers will be able to book appointment slots on the Sentral Parent Portal. An email will be sent prior to each date with instructions.

Leichhardt Campus Mini-Tour

Date: Friday 26 June 2026 from 9:15am - 9:45am.

Mini tours support parents and carers with their child's year 6-7 transition into high school. During the tour, you will be guided by a dedicated staff member, have the opportunity to learn about our diverse curriculum, discover the array of extracurricular activities available to SSCL students, and ask any clarifying questions you may have about SSCL.

NAIDOC Week Celebrations

Dates: Term 2 Week 11

Sydney Secondary College Leichhardt will celebrate NAIDOC Week in week 11.

A highlight of the week will be our NAIDOC Week Feed on Wednesday 1 July. Students across the school can join in a pizza and ice cream lunch and help raise funds for programs run by our Aboriginal Education Team.
