From the Principal

Welcome to Sydney Secondary College Leichhardt Campus 

At Sydney Secondary College Leichhardt Campus we are committed to providing a quality education with the opportunity for every student to reach their potential.  

We provide a supportive educational environment which reflects and celebrates the diversity in our society and promotes a strong sense of belonging and personal responsibility.

Quality teaching is the central platform of our schools strategic directions, and high expectations are placed on students’ academic growth and achievement. 

The school provides a learning environment that is supportive of the personal and social developmental needs of young adolescents, including extensive transition and wellbeing programs. 

The schools values of Respectful Responsible Learners is promoted through the well-established Positive Behaviour for Learning program that is integral across all three Sydney Secondary College campuses. 

At Sydney Secondary College we encourage cross campus teaching opportunities for staff to work proactively together across middle and senior school settings. All Sydney Secondary College principals work together through the College Management Group to enact their responsibility for effective collegiate decision-making.  

There are a broad range of extra curricular sporting and performing arts opportunities including a Talented Athletes Program, Duke of Edinburgh, Debating, Dance, Drama and the College Instrumental Music Program. 

There are strong links to the broader community, including a highly effective and involved P & C organisation supporting the school.

A commitment to rigorous, evidenced based teaching, including explicit teaching of literacy and numeracy is the focus of future directions at Leichhardt Campus. 

I am proud to lead a dedicated and enthusiastic staff who through their commitment and expertise engage all students to achieve their personal best.
